This online casino game uses a single deck of 52 cards plus an additional Joker. The poker table is set for six gamblers and one dealer, and the players go against the banker. The banker can be either the dealer or one of the gamblers. The goal of Pai Gow Poker is to get a hold of two poker hands from the seven cards given by the dealer, particularly, a five-card hand (aka “high hand”) and a two-card poker hand (aka “low hand”). In addition, the five card hand must always be higher than the two-card poker hand.

The hand rankings for the two-card poker can obviously only be a pair or a high card. The five-hand card employs the standard poker hand rankings and highest ranking hands may be modified depending on the online casino. In order for a gambler to win, he must beat both hands of the banker. If he beats only a single hand, he pushes. If he loses both hands to the banker, he surrenders his entire bet to the banker.

Pai Gow Poker gives every gambler a different pleasure than the conventional poker game. Pai Gow Poker allows players to receive twice the number of hands and payouts and twice the fun and excitement.
